Frank W. Taussig Award winner

Mary Ellen Benedict, Vice President of Competitions for Omicron Delta Epsilon, has announced that the winner of the Frank W. Taussig Article Award for 2008-2009 is Ryan Mickey of Georgia College and State University. Ryan's Submission, "The Impact of a Seller's eBay Reputation on Price," is eligible for publication in The American Economist.

 

Outstanding Student Leadership Awards

Six ODE members received the 2009 Student Leadership awards.

10K gold keys were presented to:

Rachel Childers of Bowling Green State University

Christina Haley of Marymount College

David Hebert of Hillsdale College, and

Kristen Van Nest of George Washington University.

Rosewood pens were presented to:

Andrew Jones of Southern Illinois University and

William Pugh of University of Scranton

July 1, 2010: While membership fees will remain unchanged for the 2010-2011 fiscal year, we have had to increase prices on some merchandise and shipping options due to increased transportation charges. Beginning July 1, overnight shipping will increase to $50. The cost of plaques will increase nominally from $30 to $35.

IRS notice: As part of the new IRS system of oversight for subsidiaries, all our chapters have been mailed requests to file an electronic postcard (form 990-N). According to IRS representatives, you DO NOT have to file this form, as we file a 990 covering all our chapters. You can disregard this notice.
