Outstanding Service Award The ODE Distinguished Chapter Advisor Award for outstanding service is presented every other year at the Biennial Convention in conjunction with the ASSA meetings. Students and faculty can nominate an ODE chapter advisor based on longevity and/or outstanding service to the chapter and to the society. Self nominations are also accepted with a letter of recommendation from a dean or department chair. The award consists of a plaque and $500. The Distinguished Service Award for 2012 was presented to Dr. G. Rod Erfani of Transylvania University in Kentucky. The deadline for nominations for 2014 is August 31, 2013. |
